St. Richard's Anglican Church Fundraising Concert & Auction: "A Roof for All"

You are invited to the St. Richard’s Anglican Church Fundraising Concert & Auction "A Roof for All" (press release) in support of the Cornerstone’s Housing for Women Project, Habitat for Humanity and the Parish’s Capital Fund for the Roof Project. It is an entire afternoon of fun on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at St. Richard’s Anglican Church (8 Withrow Avenue, at Merivale Road, Nepean).

The Concert at 2:30pm will feature some of the best musicians in Ottawa, including Garth Hampson (Tenor), Maria Knapik (Soprano), Luba Sluzar (Piano), Kerson Leong (Violin), Stanley Leong (Cello), Ottawa Christian Chorale, Tutti Muzik Excellence Program Ensemble (Strings), (Instrumental/Vocal) and St. Richard’s Music Group. Celebrity Emcee will be Rob Clipperton, renowned former CBC Host. A Silent Auction, starting at 1:30pm at St. Richard’s Church Hall, will continue through the Post-Concert Refreshment period, during which a Live Auction will concurrently be held. Celebrity Auctioneer will be Dave Smith, acclaimed Ottawa Philanthropist. This fundraising event presents not only a worthwhile cause to support but also a fun-filled afternoon to enjoy!

For that full-afternoon of entertainment, recommended donations for tickets are: $100 (VIPs), $30 (adults), $10 (students) -- a tax receipt for the allowable amount will be issued. In addition to having preferred seating at the Concert, Donors at the VIP level will be invited to an exclusive Pre-Concert Luncheon Reception, from 12:30pm to 2:00pm, at MHK Sushi and Asian Fusion (1519 Merivale Road – across the street, a few minutes’ walk from St. Richard’s). Copies of Donation/Ticket Form may be available at the Church Bulletin Board (brochure).
