St. Richard’s Nearly New Shop and Book Nook

In September 2008, the Nearly New Shop opened for its 34th season of service to the people of Merivale road area. The entrance to the shop is located at the Southeast corner of the church at the end of the Rossland Rd. parking lot. Donated Women's, Men's, and Children's clothing, and small household items are sold. Books are also sold in the Book Nook. The shop is run by Volunteer staff and the money raised goes to St. Richard's Church.

Hours of operation:

Thursday & Friday Afternoons from 1.00 pm. to 3.30 pm.
1st Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
The Nearly New Shop is not open during July and August.
Donations are accepted from September to May.

Volunteers are needed for Tuesday mornings from 8:30 - 11:00. Join a group of really nice people who have a lot of fun on Tuesday mornings. Help sort, tag, etc. and have a coffee and cookies afterward. Call Joan Madge at 224-7813 or just drop by any Tuesday morning. All welcome!
